Director's Welcome
Welcome! On behalf of our faculty and staff, we are pleased to introduce you to the Barry University Graduate Biomedical Sciences program (BMS). Steeped in a tradition of rigor, the Barry team has developed a program that prepares students who wish to advance as biomedical scientists or health care professionals. The curriculum also serves to strengthen a student’s application for professional medical education by delivering a sequence of core science courses similar to the first year of a medical, dental or podiatric curriculum.
The BMS program includes coursework in Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, Histology, Neuroanatomy and Physiology. Students may choose electives that will prepare them to excel in medical or dental programs. Students will attend classes at both the picturesque Miami Shores main campus and at our new, state-of-the-art College of Health Sciences building in nearby downtown Hollywood, Florida.
This program is demanding and best suited for those students who are committed to excellence. The faculty encourages individual transformation in a caring and supportive environment. Please browse this website to find out more details about our program.
We look forward to helping you meet your goals!

"Thank you so very much! I am currently at Michigan State university's MD program. I am enjoying it and even though I wasn't sure how much Barry would benefit me while I was there, it absolutely gave me an edge my first year."
