Post Baccalaureate / Master of Biomedical Science Combination Program

Program Options

The MS degree program in Biomedical Sciences requires completion of 36 semester hours of course work. There are three options of study tailored to meet your specific goals and career objectives:

The Accelerated 1-year Program is a rigorous curriculum designed for students who have already completed their undergraduate pre-med preparation and want to enhance their qualifications for entrance into medical or dental school.

The 18-month / 2-year Program is also designed to prepare you for acceptance to medical and dental schools, but at a slightly less rigorous pace than the 1-year accelerated program.

The Research Program is designed for students who are currently employed in the health-care industry who seek advancement in their chosen field, those who wish to "cross-over" into the biomedical fields in industry or teaching, and those who are preparing for Ph.D. programs.

If you are seeking a career change to pursue pre-medical and subsequent medical studies, or need to strengthen your undergraduate credentials, please consider our Postbaccalaureate / Master of Biomedical Science Combination Program.
