Sarah Ingram-Herring received a BSW from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and an MSW at Barry University. Ms. Ingram-Herring joined the School of Social Work in 2006 and continues to serve as the Assistant Director of Field Education for the Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Program. She has extensive experience in the field providing direct services to individuals, families, groups, and communities in a variety of settings including schools, health clinics, mental health centers, a domestic violence shelter, and a private practice office. Licensed as a clinical social worker in Florida for the past 15 years, Ms. Ingram-Herring has served as a field instructor for MSW students and clinical supervisor for social workers pursuing licensure. Her areas of interest include school social work with children and families from inner-cities, mental health, domestic violence, parenting and single mothers, HIV/AIDS prevention, and work with disadvantaged communities.
