Students from Andreas School of Business inducted into Honor Societies

The Andreas School of Business held an induction ceremony on April 4 for new members in the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and Financial Management Association International Honor Society. The ceremony recognized those students who, by their scholarly achievements, have qualified for membership.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the scholastic honor society established to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business. The society aims to foster personal and professional excellence, advance the values of the society and serve its lifelong members. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student can receive in an undergraduate or master’s program at a school accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

The Financial Management Association International (FMA), established in 1970, recognizes scholastic achievement through induction of students who have demonstrated superior scholarship. Individuals accepted for membership in the Honor Society have the distinction of belonging to the only international honorary that specifically recognizes the achievement of finance majors and demonstrates their expertise in areas such as financial economics and decision making.
