Professor Fiedler teaches in the areas of Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, and Managerial Communications. She earned a Ph.D. in Management from Florida International University and an MBA from the University of Miami. Dr. Fiedler has worked as a consultant and a trainer for several Fortune 500 companies as well as for small and medium sized firms.

Dr. Fiedler has published articles in a number of journals, including Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences, The Journal of Nursing Administration, The Southern Business and Economic Journal, and the Journal of Small Business Strategy, and co-authored the book, La Microempresa en Mexico:Problems, Necesidades, y Perspectivas. Professor Fiedler has co-authored book chapters and has presented her research findings at professional conferences in the United States and abroad.
