Internships
The Andreas School of Business offers undergraduate and graduate students assistance in obtaining an internship position at a local corporation and abroad in their field of study. School of Business students have interned at companies such as:

- U.S. Export Assistance Center

- Broward Center for the Performing Arts
- Beacon Council
- Catholic Charities
- Cosmopolitan Cosmetics
What are the advantages of doing an internship?

How do I get an internship?

at least three months before you want to start the internship
- Draft a resume (assistance available by contacting Career Services.
- Make an appointment with the Career Services to review your resume.
Things you need to know:
- In order to receive credit for an internship you must register for the internship as a business elective or MBA Graduate elective.
- International students must register for the internship in order to obtain authorization for a curricular practical training.
- To earn three credits, the intern must complete 240 hours. The internship supervisor will evaluate you during and at the end of the internship.
- A final paper, which is not to exceed 25 pages, is required. The Coordinator will provide you with the guidelines for the paper. The paper can be submitted to the internship advisor two months after completion of the internship, unless the internship is completed during the student's last semester. In this case, the paper must be submitted during the last week of the semester.
- If you do not need to do an internship for credit the Center will assist you in trying to obtain a non credit internship.
International Internships
International Business majors are required to do both a domestic and an international internship. The experience of working with a multi-national or foreign company abroad enhances an International Business student's resume.
