Special Events

The Campus Activities Board proudly presents the Special Events that Barry University students all know and love! Several student favorites, and a few new ones, are dropping this fall! Want to know what’s going on? Take a look:

Comedy Slam - 8.31.2011

The semester’s first Comedy Slam is back, bigger, and better than ever! Last year, over 400 Barry students laughed their pants off to some of the best pro comedians we have ever had. This year, the line-up is totally unreal, with some of the hottest comedians from Jus’ Wiggin Entertainment. This show dares to be a classic! So on August 31, 2011 @ 8:00pm, the place to be is Broad Auditorium because that’s where it’s all going down!!!

*This show is for mature audiences. It may contain adult language and concepts. Viewer discretion is advised.

Artists: Al Jackson and Forrest Shaw
Date: August 31, 2011
Time: 8:00pm
Location: Broad Auditorium

Leave behind the bright neon of the Miami nightlife and immerse yourself in all white, the party to see and be seen - known as GLO!!!

The Campus Activities Board present the ultimate White Attire Pre-Labor Day Party of the year. GLO is being reinvented with a new look and new style. The transformation of the Student Union Atrium and Gym will definitely go down as memorable. When night falls on September 4th, Barry University will only be opened to the grown and fabulous.

Mark the date because on Sunday, September 4th, 2011, Barry will definitely kick-off Labor Day with some excitement. Doors open at 10:00pm and the party continues until 3:00am. Dress code will be in full effect.*

Prices: TBA
Drinks will be on sale!!!

All Barry students need their Barry ID
All off-campus guests need to have an official government ID

Hundreds of people will be there so take C.A.B’s advice, “Don’t just wear white...GLO!”
