International Day of Peace

The International Day of Peace ("Peace Day") - September 21 - provides an opportunity for individuals, organizations and nations to create practical acts of peace on a shared date. It was established by a United Nations resolution in 1981 to coincide with the opening of the General Assembly. Campus Ministry provides programming on this day centered on the multiple ways that peace can be kept, shared, and reflected upon.
Respect Life Month

The Respect Life Program begins anew each year on Respect Life Sunday, the first Sunday in October. The program is highlighted in liturgies and marked by special events. Campus Ministry is dedicated to respecting life in all of its stages and provides special programming in October make students aware of the many ways that the life and dignity of the human person and all creation needs to be protected and honored.
Earth Day

Campus Ministry and the De Porres Center for Community Service is dedicated to reverencing the environment as a part of God's creation and works with the Barry Environmental Sustainability Committee.
Charity Drives
Campus Ministry supports a variety of charity drives to share God’s mercy and justice with those in need. We do so by collecting donations for disaster relief, supplies for children attending inner city schools, as well as food and clothing for local families during the holiday season. Campus Ministry needs you to help make a difference!
