MLK Day of Service

The MLK Challenge Day of service seeks to live out the dream that Dr. King left us with, one that is focused on the building up of the communities we live in so that all may benefit from them. The event typically occurs on the weekend of the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday, which takes place the third Monday of every January. In the past, this day has included landscaping at local parks, painting in local schools, and service with children. A lunch-time reflection on the teachings of Dr. King and the experiences of the day serves to connect our students with Barry's mission and core commitments. To register for the upcoming MLK Day of Service, stay on the lookout for the advertising that is released each December / January!
