September: Peace Month
Barry’s Peace Month expands the United Nation’s International Day of Peace ( September 21) into a whole month of special programming and activities to highlight and discuss peace and non-violence.
Reality Tour: Little Haiti!
Friday, September 21st; 4:30 PM - 8 PM
Come experience the cultural diversity surrounding Barry. The evening will consist of a tour of Little Haiti, dinner, and music and art at the Little Haiti Cultural Center, which hosts Big Nights Little Haiti every 3rd Friday.

October: Respect Life Month
The Respect Life Program begins anew each year on Respect Life Sunday, the first Sunday in October. The program is highlighted in liturgies and marked by special events. Campus Ministry and the De Porres Center is dedicated to respecting life in all of its stages and provides special programming in October make students aware of the many ways that the life and dignity of the human person and all creation needs to be protected and honored.
November: Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month
Over 3 billion people in the world live on less than US $2 per day. In South Florida alone, there are over 312,800 children living in poverty. Throughout the month, there will be opportunities to learn, reflect, and serve to address poverty and hunger issues locally and internationally.
April 22: Earth Day
Campus Ministry and the De Porres Center for Community Service is dedicated to reverencing the environment as a part of God's creation and works with the Barry Ecological Sustainability Team (B.E.S.T).
