Interfaith Relations
Since Barry students embrace a variety of religions, as well as
cultures, we annually develop programming to promote dialogue between
faith traditions.
The interfaith programs provide opportunities for conversation
and the promotion of understanding. They can help you develop unique
insight into various faith and ethical belief systems. Since religion
is a key motivator in world affairs, these programs will give you
the opportunity to learn more about religious differences and similarities
first-hand.
Last year's programming included luncheon presentations on cloning,
presented by members of the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian traditions.
Programs are organized by the Interfaith Relations Committee. Committee
members are drawn from Barry faculty, staff, and students as well
as from the South Florida community. |
