Letter from the Director

Welcome to Career Services! We have had lots of changes to our office over the past few months and are excited about the New Year.

This past June, after spending the past 6 years as the assistant director and career counselor, here at Barry, I was promoted to Director of Career Services. Additionally, Ms Shaunie Wall, was promoted to Associate Director after spending 5 years in career services in variety of roles including career counselor and employer relations coordinator. Two new career counselors were also added to the staff; Ms. Elodie Wendling, who recently served as one of our Graduate Assistant and Mrs. Kimberly Timpone who comes to us from the west coast of Florida.

As a staff we are committed to providing our students and alumni with the resources and guidance necessary to discern their career vocations, and to live out the Barry Mission in the global community in which we live. In addition, we are dedicated to developing and maintaining external partnerships with businesses and organizations locally as well as nationally and internationally where our students can contribute and respond to the needs of the community.

We welcome the students and alumni of Barry University to take advantage of the resources and knowledgeable staff here in Career Services and we look forward to the opportunity to assist you in your career development.
