Amy Diepenbrock, PhD

Amy Diepenbrock  received her doctoral degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Services from the University of Georgia . She also holds a MS from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a BA from Wake Forest University . Amy brings to Barry prior experience as Assistant Director for Career Resources and Technology at the College of the Holy Cross as well as a Graduate Assistant and Instructor in the University of Georgia Career Center.  Amy’s responsibilities include overall management and supervision of the center, as well as serving as liaison to the students, alumni, faculty, and related employers for the Schools of Education, Human Performance and Leisure Studies, and Social Work at Barry.

John Moriarty, MBA

John Moriarty has an MBA from National University in San Diego, CA, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. A native of South Florida, John spent 9 years recruiting employees for various local and national companies before joining the Barry Career Services staff.  John’s role in the center include serving as a liaison to the students, alumni, faculty, and related employers for the Schools of Business, Nursing, and Graduate Medical Sciences.

Maria Tomaino, M.S., NCC

Maria Tomaino received her Master of Science in Counselor Education with a concentration in Student Affairs Counseling.  She is an accredited nationally certified counselor and completed her Master’s degree at Syracuse University.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Minor in Theatre Arts from the University at Buffalo.  Maria has worked in several athletic, academic and career offices at Syracuse and Buffalo before joining Barry. Maria is the liaison to the students, alumni, faculty, staff, and related employers for the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Natural and Health Sciences. 

Shaunie Wall

Shaunie Wall joined the Career Services team in July 2006. She earned her Bachelors degree from Barry University and is working on her Masters degree in Human Resource Development. Shaunie has been active at Barry as a resident advisor and as a graduate assistant in Residential Life, and she is excited about the transition to Career Services.

Cari Hartman

Cari comes to Barry from Waterford , MI and is studying for her dual Master's degree in Sport Management and Business Administration. Cari is no stranger to Barry University – in spring of 2000, she participated in the "Dominican Exchange" program as a guest student from Aquinas College. In her role with Career Services Cari acts as the Employer Relations Liaison.

Kacee Biederman
Graduate Assistant

Kacee joined Barry University and Career Services in January 2007. Kacee worked at the University of Minnesota, Crookston campus both in their Department of Athletics and as a Senior Resident Advisor while completing her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. Kacee assists in Career Services Marketing efforts while enrolled in Barry's MS Sports Management program.
