Tony Umadhay, MSN, CRNA

Tony Umadhay is the Director of the MS Program in Anesthesiology.  Originally from Manila, Philippines, he completed his undergraduate nursing studies at the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines.  He obtained his nurse anesthesia education at Florida International University receiving his MSN degree.  He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. program in Nursing at Barry University.  His area of special interest includes research on vulnerable populations. He is also a practicing CRNA at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

In addition to his administrative duties as director of the program, Mr. Umadhay is responsible for teaching clinical and research classes. He also oversees the clinical education portion of the program.  He is active in professional organizations and is currently the Vice-President of the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA).
