Cynthia Creighton, Ph.D., OTR/L

Cynthia Creighton relocated from Michigan to join Barry University's faculty in 1995. She holds a B.S. degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Michigan University, a M.A. degree in education from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in evaluation and research from Wayne State University. Dr. Creighton has 32 years of clinical and administrative experience in hospitals, schools and community settings, and has been teaching occupational therapy for 15 years. Dr. Creighton's professional activities at the national level include serving on the editorial board of a journal, as an accreditation evaluator and as a field correspondent for OT Week. She has published 15 papers and has been awarded 10 research and community service grants. Dr. Creighton currently works with developmentally disabled adolescents, in a work-skills program. Her leisure activities include playing ball with her dog, cooking, gardening and travel. |
