Alan S. Whiteman, Ph.D., FACMPE
Associate Professor and Program Director, Health Services Administration Program

Dr. Whiteman is President of Health Care Integration Consultants, Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in Health Services from Walden University, an MBA in Management from Wayne State University, and a BA in Health Facilities Management from Michigan State University.

Dr. Whiteman has over 30 years experience in the health care industry. His career spans work with hospitals, insurers, a major public accounting firm, and, for over 20 years, with physician practices of all sizes. Dr. Whiteman is a former President of the Florida Medical Group Management Association, a Past Chairman of the Radiology Assembly within the Medical Group Management Association, and a past member and Team Leader of the Professional Papers Committee within the American College of Medical Practice Executives. He has recently co-authored a book published by the American Medical Association, Cutting Costs in the Medical Practice. In addition, he frequently publishes articles on health care administration, conducts lectures on similar topics, and is a contributing author to a text in process on health care leadership.
