Commuter Information Assistants
A commuter Information Assistant is a full-time undergraduate student who assists commuter students in their adjustment to University life. The CIA, under the direction and supervision of the Director of the Center for Commuter Student Affairs, proactively serves as a resource guide and mentor to assist new commuters in adjusting to a new academic, social, cultural, and spiritual environment while taking into consideration their multiple life roles. The primary goal of this position is to assist commuter students to develop a sense of belonging so as to support their learning and nitration to campus life.
