James Scott is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who came to Barry University from Miami Children's Hospital. His areas of interest include personality development, separation and individuation issues of young adults, and relationship issues.
Anastasia Maguire, RSM, MSW, LCSW

Sister Anastasia Maguire is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked at Barry Center for Counseling and Psychological Services since 1996. She holds a License as a qualified Clinical Social Work/Mental Health Supervisor for the State of Florida. Her professional interests include working with family of origin issues and dealing with cultural issues in a multi-cultural environment.
Hossiella Longoria, Psy.D.

Hossiella Longoria earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Argosy University, Tampa. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Texas State Counseling Center in San Marcos, Texas. Prior to coming to Barry University, Dr. Longoria worked at the University of Miami Counseling Center. Her areas of interest include sexual orientation concerns, relationship issues, sexual assault and eating disorders. She is a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English).
Leslie Edwards, MA, LMHC

Leslie Edwards is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Prior to coming to Barry, Leslie worked at the Student Counseling Center at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Her areas of interest include interpersonal relationships, identity development, stress management, and substance abuse.
Laura Testiler, Psy.D.

Laura Testiler earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral training at the Center for Counseling and Student Development at the University of Delaware. Her areas of interest include family of origin issues, relationship difficulties, body image and disordered eating concerns, cultural adjustment issues unique to international students, and anxiety management.

Helen Balgobin has earned diplomas in Business Management (APS & ACS) and Events Management at the University of the West Indies. She comes to Barry with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Administration.
