Emilie A. Ney is an Assistant Professor in the School Psychology Master’s and Specialist Degree Program. After studying psychology and Spanish at the University of Richmond, she obtained a Ph.D. in School Psychology at Texas A&M University with a concentration in serving diverse and bilingual populations. Before joining the Barry University faculty full time in 2011, she spent time gaining clinical experience in various settings with at-risk populations. Dr. Ney’s primary research interests include investigating ways to best serve bilingual students in schools. Her clinical interests include bilingual psychoeducational assessment.
