Jim Rudes joined the Counseling Program in the Adrian Dominican School of Education as Assistant Professor in 2003. Dr. Rudes holds a B.A. in psychology from Hunter College, an M.S.W. in social work from New York University, and a Ph.D. in family therapy from Nova University. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is a AAMFT (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy) Approved Supervisor. His professional interests include postmodern theory, social constructionism, narrative practices, reflecting teams, and supervision. He has presented professional workshops at national and international conferences. The author of numerous publications, Dr. Rudes is best known for his contributions to narrative and postmodern applications to counseling and therapy.
