Richard Tureen joined the Counseling Program in the Adrian Dominican School of Education in 1996. Dr. Tureen is Associate Professor and holds a B.B.A from the University of Miami, an Ed.M. from Saint Louis University, and a Ph.D. in Family Therapy from Nova University. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida and a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). His professional interests include postmodernism, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, systems theory, and neuroscience applications to therapy.
