Purpose Statement  

The purpose of the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services is to provide the following services in an atmosphere of respect and confidentiality:

1. Personal counseling, including individual and group counseling.

2. Wellness-related programs, including activities, presentations and workshops to students, faculty and staff.

3. Interaction with other universities statewide including promotion of responsible and healthy lifestyle choices with regards to substance abuse, and addressing other areas of interest and concerns. 

Our staff is committed to providing a broad range of services to meet the personal, social, and educational needs of our students, faculty and staff. Our goal is to help each individual reach his/her optimal potential and receive the maximum benefits from the university experience. The Counseling Center purpose is consistent with the mission and goals of Barry University.
