Marcus Segerstrom, Scott Smyers and Daniel Stapff were named to the Ping Division II All-South Region Team.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Three Buccaneers men's golfers were named to the Ping Division II All-South Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Barry junior Marcus Segerstrom, sophomore Scott Smyers and senior Daniel Stapff were all selected to the all-region team.

Segerstrom had five Top 10 finishes, including two third place performances. He tied the school record for lowest round when he shot a 65 at the Bobcat Intercollegiate to finish third. He had eight rounds in the 60s during the 2011-12 season. Segerstrom had a 73.22 scoring average this year.

Smyers finished in the Top 10 in four tournaments, taking the runner-up honor at the Matlock Collegiate Classic. He had back-to-back rounds in the 60s at the Buccaneer Invitational when he finished fourth. He shot in the 60s in six rounds this season. Smyers put together a season scoring average of 73.86.

Stapff had seven Top 10 finishes, including a win at the St. Edward's Invitational when he opened with back-to-back rounds in the 60s. In the first tournament of the year, he shot 66 in the second round at the Aflac/Cougar Invitational, which was one stroke off the school record. He had seven rounds in the 60s this season. Stapff led the Bucs with a 72.39 scoring average.
