Since taking over as the new dining services provider for Barry University, Chartwells has made tremendous strides in changing and upgrading the overall dining experience on campus. As with any institution of higher learning, a major component to campus culture will always rest in dining services. Chartwells officially began its operation in the Roussell Dining Hall on Monday, June 2 with an instant impact. Plans for new locations and renovations have already commenced as Roussell Dining Hall has experienced a facelift and refreshed summer menu for those attending class and working on campus. Via social media, many members of the Barry University campus have expressed their elation with this change.
Chartwells is also working diligently with the university to bring some major changes to the retail dining experience. The revamping of the Buc Stop Cafe will bring Subway and Chick-N-Grill to campus along with Starbucks We Proudly Brew and a new grab and go Outtakes program. In conjunction with the bar area being remodeled, Bucky's Cove will introduce a new menu for the fall as well as a coffee bar. Dominican Hall will introduce Chop’d, Wrap’d, and Roll’d, an Outtakes convenience store, and Juiceblendz, a local fresh fruit smoothie brand.
