Facilities Management is taking a fresh new look at Barry University’s recycling plans and will be taking the recycling program to a new level. Be on the lookout for some of the following changes taking place on campus during November 2014.
- Auditing and Ensuring that all buildings are adequately supplied with recycling bins
- Applying liner color codes to all trash and recycling bins to include office bins: Black-Trash and Clear-Recycle
- Placing Decals for educational purpose on recycling bins of what is Single-Stream Recycling
- Identifying and adding recycling bins in major traffic areas.
- Tracking recycling numbers received from Waste Management for periodic publication to the Barry Community.
