Access the Chronicle of Higher Education through the Library

The Chronicle of Higher Education, one of the most popular national news sources for academe, is available to all Barry University community members (students, faculty, and staff) who have an active BarryNet account, free of charge. There is no need to pay for a subscription to have access to The Chronicle’s weekly news, blogs, newsletters and more.

On your computer off campus:

1. Go to Chronicle.com and click on the “Log In” link at top, right hand side of the Web page.
2. Choose the “Create a Free Account” option.
3. Enter and confirm your university e-mail address, then follow the steps on the account setup pages.

On your computer on campus: 

1. Simply go to Chronicle.com for complete access.

On your smartphone or tablet:

1. Go to Chronicle.com on your device’s Web.
2. Scroll down to click the “Log In.”
3. Enter and confirm your university e-mail address, then follow the steps on the account setup pages.
