Barry University men's basketball team is ranked No. 10 in the College Sports Information Directors of America NCAA Division II media poll and No. 11 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches poll released Tuesday.

Barry (8-1) remained No. 10 in the D2SIDA media poll, earning the national respect of the collegiate SIDs, despite a five-point loss to then-No. 12 Indianapolis on Dec. 16. The Buccaneers fell three spots in the coaches poll.

The Bucs will take their Top 10 ranking into Lakeland, Florida, for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off at Florida Southern in a return to Sunshine State Conference play. Florida Southern (11-0) is No. 1 in the media poll and No. 2 in the coaches poll.

West Liberty (W. Va.) occupies the No. 1 spot in the NABC poll, and No. 2 in the D2SIDA rankings. Indianapolis is now ranked No. 7/8 in the two polls.

Barry's next home game is 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 against Palm Beach Atlantic.
