Campus Ministry invites you to live Lent

To help the Barry University community live Lent this year, Campus Ministry will be offering the following resources:

  • Lenten Prayer Cards
  • Prayer Booklets

Pope Francis: Living Lent with Passion:

Since his election during Lent of 2013, Pope Francis has had a lot to say, and much of it has been a challenge to our ordinary ways of thinking and acting. His most challenging words, however, echo those of Jesus himself, the One who asks that we love God first and then love our neighbors as ourselves. Pope Francis’ words in this booklet are a starting point for prayer. Each day includes a suggested Scripture reading, most often from the day’s Mass.

What Am I Doing for Lent this Year?:

A helpful booklet to help you live Lent as a powerful opportunity for spiritual growth and renewal. It includes not only inspiring words, but spaces to write down thoughts and prayer.

What Am I Doing for Triduum this Year?:

This workbook will guide you in planning your observance from Holy Thursday to the eve of Resurrection Sunday as a personal retreat. For each day there is a commentary on the liturgies, scripture citations for reflection, and spaces for writing about personal experiences. This booklet will be available at the Campus Ministry office beginning March 23.

Please stop by the Campus Ministry office to get your copy. Supplies are limited.
