All students are invited to be a part of the Barry Basketball Club. A mandatory interest and information meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 1 at 4 p.m. in HSC Classroom 2A (located in the Health and Sport Center).
Requirements to participate are as follows:
- Must be a full time student (12 credits minimum undergraduate, 9 credits graduate)
- Must have a current GPA of 2.0 or higher (does not apply to incoming freshmen)
- $75 participation fee (cash or check made payable to Barry University)
- Must fill out activity waiver and registration form (provided at meeting)
The Club Basketball team will be competing against other university club or junior varsity teams. Practices will be held in the HSC indoor gym on select nights and will be run by a certified coach. Tryouts will be held the week following the interest meeting. Further details will be discussed at the September 1 meeting.
