Community Engagement Symposium: Call for Proposals

Community Engagement Symposium: Call for Proposals

The Center for Community Service Initiatives (CCSI) invites faculty, students, staff, and community partners to submit proposals for Barry University’s 3rd annual Community Engagement Symposium.

This year’s Symposium focuses on partnerships that contribute to student success. In general, productive partnershipsinvolve collaborative activities between University stakeholders (students, faculty, and administrators/staff) and the wider community that yield mutually beneficial outcomes.

As part of its Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Barry University seeks to advance student success through highly engaged, high-impact educational practices that advance liberal education outcomes. The University aims to provide purposeful pathways for all students – no matter the student’s chosen program or major, no matter the degree – leading to essential learning outcomes.

Proposals are being accepted for concurrent presentations during two sessions of the Symposium. All proposals will be peer reviewed and should be submitted by January 22, 2016.
