Schedule of Events

8am-10am

‘Top of the Morning’ Breakfast at the Broad Auditorium

11am-1pm

‘Color Me Irish’ T-shirt Tie Dyeing and BBQ Lunch at the Andreas Breezeway

1pm-3pm

‘Dublin Delight’ Pool Party at the Penafort Pool

3pm-5pm

‘Mocktails to Cocktails’ Pre Happy Hour Social at the Landon Courtyard

5pm-8pm

‘Pot of Gold’ Happy Hour at Bucky’s Cove | Winners of Photo Scavenger Hunt Announced at 7pm!

 

The Hunt

  • Individual or Teams of 2 will compete to score as many points as possible by taking photos around campus on March 17th from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
  • Participants must be current Students
  • The Buccaneer Hunt list will be available at 8:00AMto pick up
    • Each individual or team will be given a packet
    • Packets can be picked up from
      • Broad Auditorium from 8:00AM to 10:00AM
      • Center for Student Involvement from 9:00AM to 4:00PM
      • Andreas Breezeway from 11:00AM to 1:00PM
      • Thompson Patio from 11:00AM to 1:00PM
      • Penafort Pool from 1:00PM to 3:00PM
  • Winners Announced at 7:00PM in Bucky’s Cove (must be present to take home the prize)

 

Scoring Points

  • Each Buccaneer Hunt item requires that a picture be taken of the item/location/person with the competing individual or team member.
  • Every item listed will have an associated point value
  • The entire Buccaneer Hunt is taking place on campus
    • Any photos taken off campus will not be considered
    • We encourage teams to post their photos on Facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc.
      • With the following Hashtags: #LuckoftheBuc2016 #BarryUniversity #CSI

Submitting Your Photos

  • Submissions must be uploaded by 5:30PM
  • Students who do not have a social media account will have to upload all photos to a USB and give to Steven Ramos for submission by 5:30PM
    • Submission received after this time will not be considered
    • One submission is to be submitted by each team
    • Submissions must be compiled on a free online image hosting website or USB
      • Facebook, Twitter or Instagram are recommended to be used
      • Photos will be tracked by hashtags
      • Label each photo with the Buccaneer Hunt item that is corresponds to
        • Any photos submitted without a proper label will not be considered
        • The more organized it is, the happier we’ll be!

Prizes

Winners will be announced at 6:30PM in Bucky’s Cove

The team that scores the most points will win the Grand Prize (and bragging rights)

2ND PLACE:                   Beats by Dr. Dre Pill and Barry Swag Gear & Chest

3RD PLACE:                   Gift card and Barry Swag Gear
