The Sukkah is Going Up!!

The Sukkah is Going Up!!

The Hebrew Bible describes how God redeemed his people from enslavement in Egypt and protected them as they traversed the desert. The Sukkah is a tent-like structure that Jews erect every Fall to represent the temporary dwellings within which the people of Israel lived as they traveled to the Promised Land. Eating in the Sukkah is a way Jews commemorate God’s protection of his people on their journey.
