Although WBRY is primarily an undergraduate enterprise, station manager and marketing director positions are open to qualified graduate students as well as to undergraduates.

Title & CompensationDutiesKnowledge, Skills, and Experience
Station ManagerResponsible for all aspects of WBRY operations.Previous management experience preferred.
Graduate Assistantship of up to three (3) academic credits and up to $1500 per semester.Supervises WBRY management staff.
Serves as contact for campus groups and organizations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
 Serves as contact between WBRY and external organizations.One year previous experience at WBRY in any capacity is preferred.
 Maintains the WBRY web-siteBroadcasting experience preferred.
 Monitors WBRY via AM radio and internet feed to ensure signal quality.  
WBRY Promotions DirectorResponsible for promoting WBRY on and off campus.Sales/Marketing experience.
Reports to the Station Manager Increase WBRY’s presence on campus and in the community, both for On-air Programming and for Entertainment ServicesExperience with press releases, flyers, displays, and event management

 Recruit, train and supervise promotions staff 
WBRY Program DirectorResponsible for on-air operations of WBRYFamiliar with radio station and recording studio equipment.
Reports to the Station Manager Plan programming schedule One year previous experience at WBRY in any capacity is preferred.
Undergraduate tuition remission of 10% per semester and federal work study, if applicable, or volunteer. Recruit, train and supervise on-air DJs DJ experience preferred.
 Ensure that automation schedules are operating properly each day 
 Catalogues and loads new music 
 Maintains connections with record companies and artists  
 Compile required station logs for BMI, including music, commercials, & PSAs 
WBRY News DirectorResponsible for news and public affairs programmingMust be familiar with broadcast news writing.
Reports to the Station ManagerSupervises production of WBRY newscastsOne semester working with WBRY News is preferred.

WBRY Assistant News DirectorResponsible for News and Public Affairs programmingMust be familiar with broadcast news writing.
Reports to the News DirectorProduction of WBRY newscastsOne semester working with WBRY News is preferred.
Federal work study or volunteer Recruit, train, and supervise reporters 
Field Events CoordinatorInventories and secures all DJ equipment  Knowledge of DJ equipment and its maintenance
Reports to the Station ManagerSupervises delivery of entertainment at events contracted for by WBRYField DJ experience
Federal work study or volunteer Functions as event DJ as needed One semester experience with WBRY Entertainment Services preferred
 Supervise equipment set-up prior to an event 
 Conduct/supervise DJ operation during events 
 Supervise breakdown and return of equipment after events 
Station Engineer  Coordinates station maintenance with DoIT support staffKnowledge of contemporary audio equipment and its maintenance
Reports to the Station ManagerMaintains station equipment and ensures that WBRY remains on airKnowledge of audio equipment
Federal work study or volunteer Inventories station equipment at the beginning and end of each semesterOne semester experience with WBRY preferred
 Checks broadcast field equipment after each event 
 Checks studio equipment weekly 
 Maintains all station equipment in good working order 
 Coordinates response to problems with equipment or signal 
WBRY Staff—Three positionsProvides support to assigned operating areas Appropriate to corresponding area
Reports to area supervisor  
Federal work study or volunteer.
