Traditional Semester Study Option

Barry's Traditional Semester Study Option enables you to pursue the Doctor of Ministry while meeting your other responsibilities. Working with your advisor, you can design a schedule that meets your program requirements and still gives you the flexibility you need.
Classes meet at our Miami Shores Campus once per week, generally from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. You can enroll in one to three classes per semester.
Students from various locations in South Florida often choose to complete most of their coursework through this format. You can also enroll in courses offered in the winter and summer terms. Such cross-over enrollment can increase the breadth of topics you study and enable you to complete the D.Min. degree more quickly.
Please note: Courses within the Institute for Hispanic/Latino Theology and Ministry are only offered in the winter and summer terms. In addition, two required core seminars must be taken in the winter and summer terms (Fundamental in Practical Theology: THE 800A and Integrative Seminar: THE 800).
