Dr. Juanita H. BrandfordAssociate Professor An Associate Professor in the School of Education at Barry University. She received her doctorate degree from Columbia University, specializing in educational leadership. Dr. Brandford also specializes in elementary and special education and is a former teacher and an experienced administrator at the state, district and school levels. Her areas of special interest are in visionary educational leadership, urban education and teacher preparation grounded in social justice and human rights. With over 40 years of successful educational experiences, Dr. Brandford serves as a mentor to future teachers and administrators as well as practitioners in the field.
