Dr. Fay Roseman

Dr. Fay Roseman is an Assistant Professor and currently serves as the Director of Field and Clinical Experience for the Adrian Dominican School of Education as well as the Florida Department of Education Certification Ombudsman for Barry University.  She earned her Ph.D. in Social Work at Barry University and her MSW at New York University.  Her B.A. in Elementary Education is from Pace University in New York.

Dr. Roseman teaches courses in both undergraduate teacher preparation programs and graduate counseling programs.  Prior to joining the School of Education, Dr. Roseman’s experiences included clinical practice in various settings including children’s rehabilitative services and working with non-traditional families in private practice both in New York and Florida in addition to teaching at the K-6 level.  Dr. Roseman’s research interests include human behavior, cultural diversity dynamics in teacher preparation, child development, the developing teacher, and non-traditional family development.
