EAB 2012-2013 Officers
Co- President- Maranda Barretto

I was born and raised in East Cleveland, Ohio before I moved to Miami. I am in the BS/MS program and I am majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in middle school mathematics. My favorite things to do are: working ministry, volunteer work, tutoring children, teaching Sunday school, doing art & crafts, and most of all worshipping and praising my GOD for everything he has done and continues to do in my life!
Co-President- Lucien Sentus
My name is Lucien Senatus and I am the proud new EAB President for the 2012-13 term. I am an original Floridian (born and raised in Miami) and this is my senior year at Barry. I look forward to meeting new students and catching up with returners. If you see me around, please feel free to introduce yourself.
Ginory Acha
I am originally from Puerto Rico and have lived in Miami for over 14 years. I have always had a desire to become a teacher, so I am majoring in Elementary Education. One of my passions in life is to work with children. I love to be an instrument of guidance to the children and also learn from them! By working with children, and by being a mother myself, I have learned about patience, acceptance, communication, and fairness. I love the opportunity to offer my knowledge and skills to be a positive role model and make a difference in the lives of the children of our future.
Public Relations- Bridgette Kelley
I am in her senior year at Barry University and am majoring in Special Education. As a native of South Florida, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, crafts, playing in my garden, taking pictures, digging for vintage and, of course, working with children! I hope to become a Special Education teacher in South Florida and continue traveling the world!
Secretary- Diana Lizarralde

I am originally from Cali, Colombia but I moved to the United States 10 years ago. I am in the BS/MS program and am majoring in Exceptional Student Education with a minor in mathematics. I am a very positive, energetic, friendly, and spiritual individual that enjoys serving, teaching, dancing, and baking. In addition, I enjoy teaching Sunday School and volunteering in our community. My favorite quote is "My life is my message" by Gandhi because it reminds me of the great impact that one causes in other people’s lives and the message one should portray in the adventurous journey of life.
Treasurer- Steven Seage

I was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where I have lived for the past 24 years. I am currently seeking a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In my spare time, I play guitar, SCUBA dive, and help others. One of my favorite quotes is by Thoreau, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined!"
