The Master's in Elementary Education with ESOL Endorsement is a comprehensive teacher education program that will prepare you with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to be an effective instructional leader in today's diverse classrooms.

You will learn to engage students in meaningful, relevant learning experiences while gaining the strategies necessary to be an accomplished educator.

You will learn about the theory and methods of teaching for understanding, as well as ways to create meaningful learning communities. As a graduate of this program, you will be recognized for the quality of your preparation and will be highly marketable.

This program integrates the five Core Propositions from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and is approved by the Florida State Department of Education.

Classes are small in size, conveniently scheduled, and located on and off-campus. There are ample opportunities to meet with advisors regarding for program planning and career counseling.

Action Research - Teacher Effectiveness and Student Achievement

Students have opportunities to be involved with practitioners in Miami-Dade and Broward County Public schools who participate in action research workshops and projects, as well as other professional conferences.
