Desiree Carvalho

Desiree Carvalho is the Assistant Director for Barry University's Continuing Education department and also assists the Emergency Medical Services department. Prior to joining Barry University, Desiree worked in the medical field for five years as the Referral Coordinator for a demanding Internal Medicine practice. While in this position, her responsibilities included receiving referrals, verifying insurance, arranging services for patients and managing the daily operations of Referral department.
