Barry University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide enrollment and degree verifications on its behalf. Employers or organizations seeking to verify the degrees or enrollment of current or former students should contact The National Student Clearinghouse at:

NOTE: The University will be unable to process Degree Verification requests until all of the student’s financial obligations, including any collection and/or attorney fees, to the University are paid in full. For additional student account information, please have the student contact the Cashier/Business Office at studentaccounts@barry.edu.
Student Loan Deferments
Barry University submits electronic files of enrollment information to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) regularly throughout each term. The Clearinghouse automatically updates your status with most lenders.
You can view what information has been submitted to your lenders by utilizing the National Student Clearinghouse's Self-Service portal. This free service shows the history of data that has been submitted on your behalf.
To access the NSC Self-Service, log in to Colleague Self-Service and click on Student Enrollment Verification located under the Academic Profile menu. You will be taken to the Clearinghouse's Student Self-Service Site that is not only a portal to specific information about loans, but also can provide enrollment certificates, your enrollment information on file, and student loan deferment notifications that the Clearinghouse has provided to loan holders.
If your particular lender does not use the services offered by the Clearinghouse, you can download enrollment verification from the NSC Self-Service and forward that to your lender.
If your lender sends a deferment form to you and insists the form be completed, please sign and mail it directly to the Clearinghouse.

If you are currently enrolled and have been contacted by your lender regarding repayment of your loan, request a deferment form from your lender and email the completed form to enrollment.deferment@barry.edu.
Enrollment or Non-Enrollment Verification - Student/Individual Request
Barry University, through its agent the National Student Clearinghouse, provides students with free enrollment verification by utilizing the National Student Clearinghouse's Self-Service portal.
Current students can access the NSC Self-Service via Colleague Self-Service and click on Student Enrollment Verification located under the Academic Profile Menu. You will be taken to the Clearinghouse's Student Self-Service Site.
Please Note: Enrollment verifications for loan purposes cannot be provided until the actual start date of the semester.
Former students, as well as alumni can request proof of past enrollment from the National Student Clearinghouse or by ordering a transcript.
