Marilyn Estevez comes to Barry from a broadcast journalism background. She has worked as a general assignment news reporter covering everything from politics to crime. She has also worked as a field producer, assignment desk editor, and public relations writer.

Ms. Estevez has worked for WFOR/TV News, WPLG/TV News, WINZ/News Radio, World Business Review/CNBC, and Crime Stoppers/Channel 10 segment. She has been published in the Miami Herald and other news publications. She has served as host for various organizations' community awareness ceremonies, such as Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
