Two Miami-based organizations, Adding Doses of Hope Daily Foundation and Casting Couch Productions, will host their Footprints Across Haiti shoe drive at the School of Podiatric Medicine.

The Barry community is encouraged to drop off any new or used unwanted sneakers, works boots, and children’s shoes prior to the event date.
The shoe drive aims to help poverty-stricken Haitians navigate the country’s rough terrain. Through the Footprints Across Haiti campaign, shoes will be inspected, sanitized, packaged for shipping, and distributed to residents by partner organizations in Haiti. Monetary donations to support the campaign will also be accepted.
