Vigil for the United Nations Climate Summit

Vigil for the United Nations Climate Summit

The Office of Mission Engagement invites the Barry community to join the Peace Month celebration by attending a Vigil for the United Nations Climate Summit

Date: Monday, Sept. 22, 2014
Time: 4:30 p.m.
Location: In front of Cor Jesu Chapel

In celebration of Peace Month and in preparation of the United Nations Climate Summit, join us in prayer, to lay a stone in memory of extinct species that have perished due to human action and climate change. These stones will also mark our commitment to become protectors and nurturers of planet Earth and its community.

Barry’s Mission and Core Commitments call us to recognize the sacredness of Earth. Our Adrian Dominican foundation commits us to live in right relationships with the Earth community.
