All faculty, staff, and students are invited to a discussion on the root causes of gun violence and its effect on community members. This discussion will include an opportunity to hear from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students who were directly impacted by the shooting at their school. Round table discussions will engage participants in conversations about factors contributing to school and other community violence, as well as share ideas on how to reduce violence and promote resources.
This program will be facilitated by David Feldman, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychology and Lauren Shure, PhD, LMHC, Associate Professor of Counseling and Director of the MS in Counseling Program, from the Adrian Dominican School of Education.
