Clara Wolman received her PhD degree in Educational Psychology/Special Education from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Wolman was a teacher of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and children with mild disabilities. She has been the Director or Co-Director of several federal grants, including research grants and personnel preparation grants. She has published numerous journal articles in several areas, including but not limited to, reading comprehension in children with and without disabilities, ethno-cultural studies about families of children with chronic conditions, and attitudes toward students with disabilities. She has developed and helped in the development of attitude instruments in English, Spanish, and Haitian-Creole. She currently teaches Special Education as well as Quantitative Research courses in the School of Education.
