Dr. Carl Cramer, Professor, Coordinator, Athletic Training 

Dr. Carl Cramer

Dr. Cramer has taught and researched in the field of athletic training for the last twenty-seven years. He is considered an authority on athletic training academic program structure and content. He served as an advisor for the Volvo Ocean Race 2002 Miami Port Stop. He served as chair of the Research Sub-Committee and member of the Joint Review Committee on Educational Program in Athletic Training (JRC-AT) 2002 and 2003. He is a candidate for ordination to the permanent diaconate for the Archdiocese of Miami in 2005.

Dr. Cramer earned his BA from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota, M.Ed. from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kansas State University. He served on the sports medicine staff at KSU from 1982 until coming to Barry University in 1990.
