The performing arts season at Barry University is centered on the Broad Center for the Performing Arts, a 1000-seat, fully equipped professional facility, and the Pelican Theatre, a 50-seat hall for recitals, forums, and black box theatre productions. The Broad Center is equipped with audio and video recording equipment and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. The Barry University Department of Fine Arts’ technical facilities include Yamaha grand pianos with the disklaviers and clavinova pianos in music studios and private practice rooms; a computer studio with MIDI systems and sample playback synthesizer with multi-timbral synthesizer modules.
