My Story

When I was younger, my family won a U.S. visa lottery that allowed us to move to South Florida from Cuba. Currently, I am a senior pre-med student who received several scholarships and was elected president of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA). My aspiration is to become a pediatrician and join Doctors without Borders to assist poor and sick children in third world countries.

My journey at Barry has been an amazing opportunity, allowing me to achieve success of mind, heart, and spirit. Therefore, as a future alumna of Barry (FAB), student ambassador, and a donor, I know how important it is to give to Barry University. Such gifts provide opportunities for more students to be able to excel and do great things in the future.
