The Legacy Project

Leave your legacy at Barry University

Created in 2012, The Legacy Project empowers you to make a tangible difference not only in your campus experience, but also in the lives of future Buccaneers.

Each year, students have the opportunity to suggest and vote for a Legacy Project, a way to leave their mark and enhance campus life. You can support new equipment, scholarships, campus beautification, student programs, and more.

Once a project is selected and a goal is established, Barry’s Student Alumni Association and the Phonathon Student Fundraising Program work with you and your fellow Buccaneers throughout the year to meet the fundraising goal.

Unlike the traditional class gift, the Legacy Project is not limited to the graduating class. All Barry students, from freshmen to seniors, are encouraged to participate.

Why you should give

The Legacy Project allows you to become a part of something much bigger than yourself. It uses the power of students to build a culture of giving at Barry University.

Tuition covers only a portion of the university's costs, emphasizing the importance of private donations in enhancing the student experience. Your gift, combined with those of your fellow classmates, helps to build a better Barry.

So what will your legacy be?
