How Your Gifts Change Lives
A Tradition of Giving to Building the
Leaders of Tomorrow
From the founding of Barry University, giving
to the students of Barry has been a university tradition. The dedicated
services of the Dominican Sisters of Adrian served to lower the cost
of higher education for thousands of Barry students. This source
of student support has continued to the most recent decades of Barry’s
history.
The cost of higher education for students who have the ability
but lack the financial means is continued through the scholarships
set up by alumni, parents, staff and friends of Barry. Through
an endowed scholarship this tradition of giving continues.
When a scholarship reaches a minimum of $25,000 it remains as
an endowed scholarship. Many of the scholarship listed welcome
additional contributions to provide more financial assistance to
our students.
These pages tell the stories of how scholarships at Barry continue
a legacy of giving and create nurses, doctors, lawyers, teachers,
artists and many other outstanding professionals who are formed
by the mission of Barry University. We hope you are inspired by
the stories of our scholarship recipients and will continue the
Barry tradition of giving. |
